Essential Skin Clinic Policies

Arrival Times

If you are booked in for a skin consultation please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete the required paperwork. For all other appointments please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment or if you are running late please inform us.

Appointment Confirmation

A confirmation message will be sent via email & text message approx 24hrs prior to your appointment. Please confirm this appointment or call us to re-schedule, otherwise we regret there may be a cancellation fee.

Electronic Devices

Please be mindful of other clients present in the clinic and switch your mobile phone to silent. Please also refrain from answering phone calls as this can disturb not only your own treatment but other clients’ treatments as well.

Cancellation Policy

We ask all clients to give at least 12 hours notification of any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.

Clients will incur a 30% charge of service booked for any no shows or late cancellations.

Grace and Exceptions

We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and/or emergencies occur.

We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. However, we do record these occasions so as to prevent abuse of our policy. Our goal, by sending txt and email reminders is to be preventative in order to protect our business, staff job security and clients.

Vouchers

Vouchers from Essential Skin Clinic can be purchased online, in store or over the phone and are valid for 24 months. All vouchers can be used on the treatment specified or the dollar amount of the treatment specified and can be used to purchase products. If a voucher is lost or stolen we can replace it so long as you provide us with the voucher number. Please bring your voucher with you to your appointment or provide us with the voucher number. Unfortunately, vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

Online Orders and Mailing

Once an online order is placed a confirmation email will be sent, if you do not receive the email please check your junk inbox or contact us. The products will be sent via courier on either the day of ordering or the day after, if there are any time delays you will be notified otherwise. For orders over $100 postage will be free, otherwise we have a delivery cost of $10.  

Refunds and Returns

If you are unhappy with an item or it is faulty and would like to return it, we offer a 30 day refund and return policy from the date of your purchase.

  • This only applies to items that are faulty or have not been opened or used
  • All items must be returned in their original condition
  • For faulty items you will be issued a refund
  • For change of mind items you will be issued a store credit and have the opportunity to exchange it for a different product
  • Please ensure you have proof of purchase when you are returning an item
  • All return postage costs will be paid by the buyer, however if the item is faulty the postage costs may be refunded.

Privacy Consent

Essential Skin Clinic take your privacy seriously. For the safety of our clients, we maintain records of any health or medical conditions /history which may indicate that a particular service or treatment should not go ahead (eg allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions) or a particular product should not be used (eg products containing nuts, fish oils etc). These health records are not used for any other purpose. Client records are held securely within our salon software system and can only be seen by members of the salon team. It is important to always notify staff of any changes or updates to these records.

Marketing

Essential Skin Clinic does not send advertising information without obtaining prior consent. If an individual receives communications from Essential Skin Clinic which they do not wish to receive, they may remove their name from the marketing database by contacting Essential Skin Clinic via the contact page on the website.
